How to Pack Your Flowers
You’ll need:
A box, kitchen tissue roll, tape and a pen
Instructions:
1. Moisturise the Stems: If the stems are exposed, wrap the bottom of the stems with damp tissue paper to keep them moist.
2. Wrap with Foil: Wrap foil tightly around the damp tissue paper to prevent water from escaping.
3. Bag the Stems: Place the stems in a sandwich or food bag, ensuring it's securely sealed.
4. Pack the Box: Place the flowers in a box with scrunched-up tissue paper or newspaper around them to keep them upright and protected during transit.
Important: Do not use cling film or bubble wrap around the flower heads.
5. Add a Note: Include a note inside the box with your name, contact details, and the event date.
6. Label the Box:
Clearly label the box as “FRAGILE".
Mark arrows pointing upwards with "FRESH FLOWERS" and "THIS WAY UP”.
